About the role
The successful candidate will manage the food services kitchen operations in accordance with school district policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manage kitchen staff and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Order groceries, dairy, produce, bread, and other necessary items for the kitchen.
- Follow recipes and perform batch cooking tasks.
- Operate and maintain computerized point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ensure all food preparation and service meet nutritional guidelines and standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma and minimum of 18 years of age.
- Serve Safe Certification.
- At least 3 years of child nutrition experience.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

- Literate.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills.
