Food Services & Delivery Associate (PT)

About the role

We are seeking a dependable and organized Food Services & Delivery Associate to support operations across multiple sites. This is a hands-on, active role that ensures women and families in our housing and shelter programs receive nutritious meals safely and on time.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport meals between locations, ensuring proper temperature control and timely arrival.
• Help maintain clean, orderly pantry and kitchen spaces at each site.
• Receive deliveries, inspect items for quality and freshness, label and date products, and organize storage areas using FIFO rotation practices.
• Keep products at least six inches off the floor, monitor for damaged goods, and maintain sanitation standards.
• Work independently for much of your shift, manage your time effectively, and communicate clearly with kitchen staff and supervisors regarding inventory discrepancies or supply needs.
• Approximately half of your time will involve travel between locations, requiring a valid driver's license with fewer than two points and comfort operating a cargo van.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience in food handling, delivery, warehouse, or inventory support
• A valid driver's license with fewer than two points
• Comfort operating a cargo van

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures, including refrigerated environments
