Food Services Cashier - Night shift

About the role

Food Service Cashier at Starbucks Cafe (Full‑time, Night shift 9:00 pm‑5:30 am, Monday‑Friday) at Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, Maryland. The Food Service Cashier will accurately and rapidly ring a variety of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, bakery goods, lunch options, and quick snacks at the cash register while demonstrating good customer service for the Food & Nutrition Department.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting money for food sold at Starbucks Cafe.
• Prepare and display food for sale in the cafeteria.
• Maintain sanitation of all equipment within the cafe.
• Restock all retail items as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or four years of related work experience.
• Barista experience (required).
• Ability to read, write, speak, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to add and subtract numbers.
• Ability to handle patron complaints with respect.

Pay

$18.00 – $21.42 per hour (based on experience, skills, and education).

Schedule

Night shift: 9:00 pm – 5:30 am, Monday – Friday.
