Job Summary and Qualifications

We have an exciting opportunity for a Food & Nutrition Services Associate at Mountain View Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare. This role involves preparing and delivering food trays, obtaining food orders, assisting with catering events, and performing various kitchen tasks.

• Prepare and deliver food trays to hospital patients.
• Obtain food orders from patients and place apportioned, prepared items on trays.
• Evaluate trays for accuracy.
• Record daily dietary data for patients and provide diet information to Dietitians.
• Assist with catering events.
• Assist customers with cash register food purchases.
• Wash dishes and clean work areas, counters, and equipment.
• Receive shipments and properly store food and supplies.
• Invent and stock items needed in various areas of the hospital.
• Ensure client/customer satisfaction by providing efficient, friendly customer service.
• Assist with pots and pans.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers Permit or ServSafe Certification required.
• Food service, hospital diet office, and cash register experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
