Food Service Worker - Tray Line Evenings (28 hours per week)
About the Role
The Food Service Worker performs a variety of tasks within a food service operation, including patient tray assembly and delivery, dish area duties, salad bar maintenance, short order cooking, cafeteria serving, re-stocking, cash register operations, and cleaning. This position may also be assigned to the Coffee Shop or Starbucks areas to perform similar duties.
Responsibilities
- Re-stock food and small wares supplies according to established par levels.
- Deliver or serve patient/guest meal trays and retail food items accurately and in a timely manner.
- Keep retail or production preparation areas clean and sanitary using established Public Health District standards.
- Follow guidelines for food handling and sanitation and ensure compliance.
- Prepare food and beverage requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Complete dish and ware washing duties as assigned.
- Perform accurate cash handling for guest tray charges and retail food operations.
- Maintain dish room, ware washing area, and tray assembly area in a clean and sanitary manner.
- Limit overproduction to minimize waste and control food costs.
- Work as a grill cook as needed.
Requirements
- ANSI Accredited Food Handler Training within 30 days of employment.

Pay
The compensation range for this position is $15.39 per hour to $24.93 per hour. The actual compensation offered will depend on factors such as experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked, and compensation model.
