Job Summary
The Food Service Worker supports Ridgecrest’s mission of purposeful hospitality by helping create a positive and welcoming dining experience for guests. This role assists across front-of-house, back-of-house, dish room, outlets, and storeroom areas as needed to ensure smooth meal service and clean, organized workspaces.
Job Specific Highlights
- Seasonal position beginning in late August and continuing through November 15th, 2027.
- Holidays and weekends are required.
- Starting pay rate is $15.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
Essential Job Duties
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized workstations, dining room, kitchen areas, and service spaces.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, food preparation guidelines, and food safety procedures.
- Receive, inspect, and put away food products; ensure products are properly stocked, organized, and within date.
- Clean, stack, and dry pots, pans, kettles, utensils, and other items used by culinary staff.
- Absorb and assist in food preparation, serving, dish room, outlets, storeroom, and other food service areas as needed.
- Interact positively with guests and team members, providing exceptional customer service and hospitality.
- Complete other assignments as the Shift Leader and/or Supervisor may deem necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma preferred.
- Previous food and beverage experience preferred, with 0–2 years of related experience acceptable.
- Willing to learn and work in different areas of the Food Service team.
- Flexible, dependable, organized, and able to perform duties in a manner that reflects good stewardship of time and resources.
- Able to work accurately and efficiently in a high-volume setting while maintaining food safety standards.
Physical Requirements
- Must be physically able to lift weights up to 50 pounds.
- Must have manual dexterity sufficient to use kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Ability to stand for long periods and stoop, squat, and climb as necessary.
