FOOD SERVICE WORKER (PART TIME)

About the role

Morrison Healthcare is seeking immediate part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions at LA General Medical Center located at 2053 Marengo Street, Los Angeles, CA 90033. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is part-time with varying days and hours, including weekends. Further details about the schedule will be provided during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stoves, and refrigerators in accordance with safety standards.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Solves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisors.
• Affirms compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Affirms compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous food service experience is required.
