Food Service Worker - Nutrition Services team
About the role
The Food Service Worker is a collaborative opportunity on our Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients, families and visitors have the best possible nutritional health care experiences.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of cashiering and grill cook duties applying excellent customer service
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families and visitors and the Nutrition Services team
- Support our organizational values while serving a diverse population
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations as set by standards
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Current Washington State Food Handlers Card within seven (7) days of hire
- Previous experience in institutional or restaurant food service preferred

Pay and Benefits
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. The pay scale is $20.86 - $31.73 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
