Food Service Worker NA-02.

Duties

• Works under direct supervision to perform tasks as directed.
• Prepares cafeteria lines, steam-tables, dining room tables, and side service stands with hot and cold food items.
• Serves food according to orders and proportions.
• Cleans tables and area after meals, returning dishes and food to the kitchen.
• Operates, breaks down, and cleans kitchen equipment used for food preparation.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors; cleans exhaust vents, hoods, windows, ceilings, and walls.
• Cleans and sanitizes trash cans; disposes of trash.
• Unloads and stores food from delivery trucks as needed.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card required.
• One-year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactory completion of E-Verify check.
• Initial food sanitation and safety training within 30 days of employment and annual refresher training.
• Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks, including medical examination.
• May be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card.

Qualifications

• Resumes must be two pages or less.
• Must demonstrate relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities as they relate to the position.
• Must possess the ability to understand and follow simple instructions and use hand tools for cleaning and operating simple machines.
