About the role
Missouri Baptist Medical Center is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker to join our Food and Nutrition Services department. This role involves working in the dishroom and handling pots & pans, with a schedule of 24 hours per week, specifically 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The position requires working every weekend and participating in a holiday rotation.

The Food and Nutrition Services department provides nutritionally balanced meals and medical nutrition therapy for patients, staff, and visitors. Our licensed clinical dietitians offer medical nutrition therapy tailored to individual medical needs. The department’s teams work collaboratively to deliver healthy, flavorful, and fresh food options daily.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service in a professional and friendly manner, adhering to food safety and portion guidelines.
- Ensure the work area is set up and supplies/products are organized before, during, and after shifts.
- Clean and sanitize work stations and utensils.
- Use equipment and materials properly and safely.
- Accurately assemble meals according to the menu, diet order, and correct protocol.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
