About the role

This position requires individuals with a high attention to detail, strong dedication to customer service, and a positive, friendly demeanor. The Food Service Worker I performs various food and beverage-related tasks and maintains the cleanliness of equipment and the food service area.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive and depart in a timely manner, delivering exemplary customer service.
• Prepare and serve hot food as required.
• Work as an expediter in the kitchen, keeping orders organized and ensuring they are sent to the correct tables promptly.
• Ensure accurate handling of all food products and equipment to maintain food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the food service work area.
• Complete daily side work, including required logs, restocking, and cleaning duties.
• Keep accurate accounts and spoilage records.
• Work with diverse populations in an encouraging and positive manner.
• Handle guest complaints respectfully.
• Adapt to changing job duties as needed to meet commitments.

Requirements

• Compliance with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies, and energy.
• Report to work on time and in complete uniform.
• Maintain a cleaning schedule for equipment and facilities.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work a multifaceted schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• This role may have physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
