About the role
The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is a non-profit Tribal health organization dedicated to meeting the unique health needs of Alaska Native and American Indian people in Alaska. ANTHC provides comprehensive health services, including medical care, wellness programs, disease research, and rural provider training.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of workstations, counters, tables, and other janitorial duties.
- Assist with set up, serving, and restocking of food from counters and steamtables.
- Stock items such as baked goods, snacks, and beverages for sale.
- Interact positively and warmly with guests in serving, retail, and dining areas.
- Ring up sales and follow cash handling policies and procedures at the register.
- Operate industrial dish washing machines and ensure proper cleaning of all wares.
- Assist guests with meal prescriptions and assemble patient trays.
- Deliver supplies or meals to patient floors or rooms.
- Report any issues, such as quality of food, safety hazards, guest concerns, or broken equipment to leadership.
- Attend training programs as assigned.
- Comply with all company safety protocols and report all injuries and accidents promptly.
- Comply with local, state, and federal health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including HACCP policies and procedures.
- Perform others duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- All High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Food Service Worker’s Card from the Municipality of Anchorage.
- Driver’s license (for delivery positions).
- Valid ServSafe certification (issued by the National Restaurant Association).
Skills
- Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation.
- Basic kitchen equipment operation.
- Independent and group work skills.
- Oral and written communication skills.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
