About the role

The Food Service Worker is responsible for safely performing contract duties as assigned by management while providing quality customer service at all times. A willingness to learn all aspects of the job is required. Part-time and full-time positions are available.

Responsibilities

  • Follow oral and/or written instructions.
  • Interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, and staff members.
  • Meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on specified contract(s).
  • Pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
  • Travel to and from various locations and buildings in various weather conditions.
  • Work indoors and follow Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements.
  • Work early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, evening, weekends, and holidays as schedules may change.

Requirements

  • Regularly bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, sit (to drive), and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • May be required to remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas using snow shovels or snowplows.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
