Food Service Worker I

About the role

The Food Service Worker is responsible for safely performing contract duties as assigned by management. Quality customer service is expected to be provided at all times.

Responsibilities

• Perform contract duties as assigned by management
• Provide quality customer service
• Understand and follow oral and/or written instructions
• Interact appropriately with customers, clients, and staff members
• Meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on specified contract(s)
• Pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate

Qualifications

• Physical ability to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, and lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to assist in lifting equipment and moving furniture when necessary
• Mental demand to perform the essential functions of the job successfully

Skills

• Understanding of oral and written instructions
• Customer service skills
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to interact appropriately with others
