Purpose Statement/Position Summary
Under direct supervision, the Food Service Worker I performs a variety of routine duties including stocking supplies, food service in the cafeteria and for patients. Also includes dishwashing, and cleaning.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience
- 1+ years previous related experience required.
- Experience working in hospital Food Service setting.
- Familiar with patient meal services, specialized diets, allergies, and tray passing protocol.
- Experience with fast paced settings, providing customer service, and service recovery.
Education/Licensure/Certification
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
