FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME)

About the role

Morrison Healthcare is seeking immediate full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions at Sheltering Arms Institute located at 2000 Wilkes Ridge Road, Richmond, VA 23233. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is full-time, with days varying between 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. A year of prior food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Solves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Affirms compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Affirms compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

One year of prior food service experience preferred.

Qualifications

Fixed Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour.
