FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME)
About the role
Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediate full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions at Ochsner LSU Shreveport, located at 1541 Kings Highway, Shreveport, LA 71103. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is full-time, with 8-hour shifts that may vary and include rotating weekends. Previous food service experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
- Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stoves, and refrigerators in accordance with safety standards.
- Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
- Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
- Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
- Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
- Affirms compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
- Affirms compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous food service experience is required.

Pay
$15.00 per hour
