FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME)
About the role
CulinArt Sector is seeking a full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER at The Ellis School located at 6425 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. Applications can be submitted online. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday with variable hours. No previous experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
- Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
- Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
- Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
- Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
- Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
- Solves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
- Affirms compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
- Affirms compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available. Pay Range: $16.50 per hour to $18.00 per hour.
