FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME)
About the role
Chartwells K12 is hiring immediate full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions at Kokomo School Corporation located at 1500 South Washington Street, Kokomo, IN 46902. Online applications are accepted only. Schedules are full-time Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. More details upon interview.
Responsibilities
- Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
- Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
- Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
- Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
- Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
- Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
- Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
- Solves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
- Affirms compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
- Affirms compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Prior culinary experience is preferred, but not required. Fixed Pay Rate: $14.50 per hour. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available. We Make Applying Easy!
