FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME)
About the role
Canteen is hiring immediate full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions. The location is at System Logistics - 115 Vista Boulevard, Arden, NC 28704. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is full-time, with days varying and hours being 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. Previous food handling and customer service experience is required. The pay range is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour. An internal employee referral bonus is available.
Responsibilities
- Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
- Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
- Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
- Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
- Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
- Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
- Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
- Solves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
- Affirms compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
- Affirms compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous food handling and customer service experience is required.
