About the role

Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i's only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. The hospital is home to the Kapi'olani Women’s Center and the Women’s Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general preparation and food service activities, including tray assembly and delivery, working in the cafeteria, cashiering, washing dishware, assisting with managing the pantry and catering.
• Work in a team-oriented atmosphere and appreciate the value of food and nutrition in quality health care.

Requirements

• One (1) year general food service experience or equivalent post high school vocational training.
• Institutional or health care food service experience.
