About the role

Responsibilities

  • Safely pick up employees from their homes and transport them to work.
  • Safely transport employees' home at the end of their shift.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules.
  • Maintain a clean and professional vehicle.
  • Perform basic vehicle safety checks before and after trips.
  • Report vehicle concerns or maintenance issues to your supervisor.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, beverage stations, and dining areas.
  • Restock supplies such as napkins, utensils, condiments, cups, and beverages.
  • Collect trash and recycling and dispose of it properly.
  • Sweep, mop, and help keep floors and common areas clean and safe.
  • Assist with dishwashing and cleaning tasks when needed.
  • Help prepare the dining area before meals and clean up after meal service.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety rules.
  • Report spills, safety concerns, or maintenance issues to supervisors.
  • Work with coworkers to keep the dining facility clean, safe, and welcoming.
  • Follow all military base rules, security requirements, and workplace procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience driving a passenger van, shuttle, or other transportation vehicle.
  • Basic understanding of safe driving practices and traffic laws.
  • Able to operate a vehicle safely while following all applicable traffic laws and company safety requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Valid REAL ID.
  • Able to obtain and maintain government base access.
  • Willing to learn and follow instructions.
  • Be dependable and safety-focused.
  • Pay attention to details and take pride in your work.
  • Work well with others and be willing to lend a helping hand.
  • Stay positive and professional throughout the day.

Qualifications

  • Experience transporting individuals with disabilities or providing community support services.
  • Experience in food service, janitorial, custodial, or hospitality environments.
  • Experience working on a military installation or secure facility.

Pay

Compensation for this role is determined in good faith and based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, education, and internal equity, in accordance with applicable law. Employees and applicants may request additional compensation information as permitted by law.

Schedule

May be required to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
