Food Service Worker Dishwasher, Dietary, FT, 07A-3:30P with Rotating Weekends

About the role

This position has a multi-faceted connection to the safety, comfort, and overall satisfaction of our customers. This role is able to do all functions independently and is cross trained in food service responsibilities and able to support the training of others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and deliver patient meals in accordance with quality, service, infection control, and food safety standards
• Deliver stock supplies to the patient floor kitchens
• Serve guests, maintaining positive customer/guest relations
• Appropriately replenish used foods and supplies
• Complete sanitation duties
• Perform dish room duties as assigned, daily
• Collect payments for guest trays
• Handle transactions for food sales in the cafeteria as a cashier in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Set up and serve meals for corporate retail, catering, Doctors Dining Room, and other dining outlets
• Decorate buffet and reception tables as assigned
• Follow all aspects of high-quality food preparation and service, or be in a supporting role to efficiently allow coworkers to do so

Qualifications

• High School, Certificate, GED, Training, or equivalent experience
• Food Safety Certification required within 90 days of job entry
• Excellent customer service skills required
• Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum 2 years of experience required

Pay

Estimated pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.49 / hour depending on experience.
