About the Role
We are seeking a Food Production Worker to join our Commercial Kitchen team. The ideal candidate must be comfortable standing for long periods and working in a cold environment as regulated by the USDA. This role involves preparing a variety of food products in a culinary-style production kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Cut, slice, and prepare foods such as sandwiches, pizzas, wraps, and salads
- Produce a variety of soups, pasta salads, and hummus flavors
- Prepare lasagna, stuffed mushrooms, and other products in our USDA kitchen
- Handle labeling, packaging, cleaning, and sanitation
- Complete required USDA paperwork daily
Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience required
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English for USDA paperwork
- Must obtain a food handlers card before the start date
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
- Must comply with our drug-free workplace policy, including prohibition on marijuana use
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a cold environment
Pay
Competitive compensation starting at $17.50+ hourly, depending on experience.

Schedule
Shifts start at 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
