Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals for the individuals living in the residential on a daily basis.
- Keep emergency supply food as required.
- Check email at a minimum of weekly.
- Complete daily Kitchen Checklists.
- Compile daily meal census to keep accurate count of meals served.
- Cleans and maintains kitchen in accordance with public health inspection standards.
- Stores food & supplies according to food safety guidelines.
- Abides by the menus posted.
- Records daily temperature logs for Freezer and Refrigerator.
- Writes expiration dates and date opened on all food items as indicated by food safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills.
Skills
- Knowledge of food preparation and service.
- Ability to follow menus and food safety guidelines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Hours are typically 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
