Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve meals for the individuals living in the residential on a daily basis.
  • Keep emergency supply food as required.
  • Check email at a minimum of weekly.
  • Complete daily Kitchen Checklists.
  • Compile daily meal census to keep accurate count of meals served.
  • Cleans and maintains kitchen in accordance with public health inspection standards.
  • Stores food & supplies according to food safety guidelines.
  • Abides by the menus posted.
  • Records daily temperature logs for Freezer and Refrigerator.
  • Writes expiration dates and date opened on all food items as indicated by food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills.

Skills

  • Knowledge of food preparation and service.
  • Ability to follow menus and food safety guidelines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Hours are typically 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
