FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER (FULL TIME)

Location: Brooks Sports – 3524 Stone Way North, Seattle, WA 98103.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work, and maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining‑room facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Store foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food‑safety, and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Use approved recipes and production standards to maintain quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner and resolve complaints courteously.
• Relay relevant information to the supervisor.
• Perform sales transactions, enter sales into the cash register, make change, accept cards, and issue receipts.
• Follow standard procedures for cash refunds and manage assigned change funds and cash receipts.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while keeping the service area clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous dishwashing, porter, and front‑of‑house experience.

Schedule

Full‑time; Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.

Pay

$21.30 per hour to $24.00 per hour.
