FOOD SERVICE WORKER

Responsibilities

The Food Service Worker performs a variety of duties related to the preparation and serving of food to patients, staff and visitors. Completes routine and special sanitation duties.

Requirements

• Licenses or Certifications: CPR and Handle with Care to be obtained within two (2) weeks of date of hire.
• Total education, vocational training and experience: High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year previous experience in a food service setting.

• Adaptability to perform a variety of duties and repetitive tasks.
• Ability to read and follow direction.
• Ability to add and subtract.
• Ability to interact in a positive manner and communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, supervisor and other hospital employees.
• Must have stable emotional makeup to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
