Food Service Worker

The Opportunity

Saint Luke’s Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola, KS is seeking a food service worker to provide excellent customer service to patients and their families. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring patients receive the nutrition they need for recovery. As a member of the nutrition team, you will interact positively with patients, enhancing their day and contributing to Saint Luke’s reputation as “The Best Place to Get Care. The Best Place to Give Care.”

Shift Days

Full-Time

The Work

• Handling, preparing, and serving food according to written menus and sanitation regulations.
• Preparing cafeteria food and delivering it to customers.
• Maintaining sanitation of work areas, dishes, and equipment.
• Maintaining inventory control, product rotation, labeling, and safe food handling practices to ensure availability to customers.
• Assisting in cashier and dishwasher responsibilities as needed.
