Food Service Worker

Department: Dietary • Location: Evanston, IL • Employment Status: Part Time < 60 • Shift: Variable

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of patient and non-patient food service duties such as:
• Preparing and delivering patient trays
• Servicing the cafeteria
• Working on tray line
• Stocking storage areas
• Preparing nourishments
• Dishwashing and pot washing
• Mopping and sweeping floors
• Emptying trash
• Other related tasks

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred (required starting July 1, 2017)
• County-specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and must be maintained current

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $16.00 to $23.17 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.

Schedule

• Part Time: 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
• Rotating weekends
