The Food Runner at our hospital plays a crucial role in our patient care experience. Qualifications

• Successful completion of general and department specific orientation
• Previous experience in a food service role
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions and food safety standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work in a very fast-paced environment

Scheduling Requirements

• Shift working 7am-3:30pm
• Available to work on weekends and holidays as needed

Essential Functions

• Deliver meals to patients in a timely and respectful manner
• Adhere to dietary restrictions and guidelines for each patient
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of food service areas
• Collaborate with the healthcare and dietary team to ensure patient satisfaction
• Assist in inventory management and meal preparation as needed
