Food Service Worker

About the role

As a Food Service Worker at MercyOne, you will perform routine assignments in kitchen, cafeteria, and on patient floors. You will perform food preparation as required, operate cash register, receive, store, and rotate supplies. You will adhere to MercyOne's performance expectations and perform all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision, Values, and culture of MercyOne.

Responsibilities

• Performs food preparation as required.
• Receives, stores and rotates supplies.
• Operates cash register/credit card machines/dept software.

Requirements

• Ability to read, basic language, basic math, basic reasoning ability.
• Cashiering requires personal computer.
• Ability to work with others and communicate courteously and clearly.

• High School diploma preferred but not required.
