Food Service Worker
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Food Service Supervisor and Food & Nutrition Management, the Food Service Worker is responsible for performing quality customer service while providing assistance with cold food preparation, tray preparation, tray delivery, pantry stock replenishing, sanitation, catering and retail services.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read, write and speak in English required.
- Basic mathematic knowledge required.
- One (1) month of the job training provided.

Pay
The compensation range for the role is $22.72 - $23.41 hourly. Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
