Food Service Worker - 3.75 hours

3.75 hours per day for the 2026-2027 school year.

About the role

Under the direction of the Principal and guidance of the Food Service Coordinator, Food Service Workers perform a variety of food service functions and duties depending upon the assignment of the Food Service Coordinator and the needs of the department.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning food items
• Assist in the set up of serving lines
• Prepare bag lunches
• Prepare and bake breads
• Prepare items such as salads, sandwiches, and fruit for alternative/ala carte lines
• Assist in the proper sanitation of work areas, serving areas, floors, tables, and equipment
• Perform dish room duties in cleaning pans, pots, dishes, and silverware
