Duties Description
As a Food Service Worker 1, you would be responsible for serving food and maintaining cleanliness in food service areas. This includes:
- Serving food from prepared trays to dining areas.
- Transporting food carts to and from serving areas.
- Returning used dishes and equipment to pot and dishwashing areas.
- Participating in food preparation as needed.
- Cleaning serving or tray line areas as necessary.
- Maintaining readiness of equipment for the next meal.
- Operating a dishwasher as required.
- Participating in sanitation activities in dining areas and other food service/preparation areas.
- Ordering and storing supplies as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
There are no education or experience qualifications for this class. Applicants must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position and speak and write in English.
