FOOD SERVICE UTILITY (FULL AND PART-TIME)

About the role

At Sacred Heart University, we are hiring immediate full and part-time FOOD SERVICE UTILITY positions. Address: 5151 Park Ave, Fairfield, CT 06825. Online applications are accepted only. Shifts may vary and more details are available upon interview.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it into designated containers.
• Steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Aid in loading or unloading and delivering supplies and products.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
• Comply with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas, remove trash and recycling, and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

Fixed Pay Rate

$16.94 per hour.
