Food Service Technician (Non-Exempt)

About the Role

Food Service Worker I (FSW‑I) performs all non‑cooking functions, including washing dishes, cold preparation, salad production, serving, cashier duties, tray passing, loading carts, general cleaning, and receiving.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a service‑related environment/industry (preferred).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Maintains relationships with patients and customers to ensure quality satisfaction with food.
• Courteous, considerate, and cooperative communication with patients, guests, team members, and hospital personnel.
• Ability to work in direct contact with a variety of foods.
• Meets schedule requirements, including attendance and punctuality.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
