Alongside a manager who will help coordinate and lead operations, you’ll help oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and help where needed.

Pay

The hourly rate or salary range for this position is $25.00 to $28.00.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules; prepare production packets (production sheets and recipes)
• Direct daily activities and ensure food safety and quality per policies and procedures
• Maintain safe, organized, and hazard-free food storage and serving environments
• Ensure food items are served per menu specifications following Aramark policies
• Maintain a sanitary department in compliance with health and safety codes
• Conduct accurate weekly inventory; prepare orders as needed
• Supervise, evaluate, and mentor employees; promote teamwork and morale
• Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
• Train and mentor food service workers
• Maintain logs for equipment maintenance and food safety/temperature with corrective actions
• Perform preventative maintenance and recommend equipment replacements
• Multitask and perform duties as requested by the Food Service Director or Manager
• Fill in for absent employees at the location as necessary
• Oversee daily catering events, ensuring timely preparation and delivery
• Work occasional night and weekend catered events
• Attend food service meetings and maintain communication with staff
• Perform cashier duties as needed
• Promote positive public relations

Requirements

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
• Complete a sanitation course before or during the first year of employment
• Knowledgeable in operating an efficient, cost-effective program
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic
• Maintain emotional control under stress
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
