Food Service Supervisor

Full-time, onsite role with Summit, a brand of Elior North America serving correctional institutions in Tucumcari, New Mexico.

About the role

We are looking to add an experienced, motivated food service supervisor to our correctional facility kitchen team. You will directly oversee the production and service of meals, ensuring incarcerated people have access to delicious, healthy food and vital social interaction at mealtimes.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on supervision and oversight for the preparation, cooking, and portioning of meals following company recipes based on daily needs and contractual obligations.
• Ensure all meals meet standards for quality.

Requirements

• Experience supervising multiple employees.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and service knowledge.

Qualifications

• Nice-to-have: An advanced degree in culinary arts or a related field.
• Nice-to-have: Food Handler’s certification.

Pay

$13.75 per hour, paid weekly.
