Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our dining team on a temporary basis. As a key member of our support staff, you will oversee the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise food service staff, ensuring efficient and effective daily operations
• Plan and coordinate menus, including meal planning, food preparation, and service
• Maintain food quality and safety, adhering to regulatory standards and facility guidelines
• Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records
• Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and food service efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including facility administrators, healthcare staff, and dietary staff
• Ensure compliance with regulations, including OSHA, HIPAA, and food safety guidelines

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience and be ServSafe certified
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
