We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as Food Service Supervisor at the Pottawatomie County Detention Center. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into a leadership role while gaining hands-on experience in food service operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily kitchen operations, food prep, and meal service
• Supervise kitchen staff and inmate workers
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health standards
• Handle inventory, ordering, and cost control
• Maintain organized, efficient kitchen workflows
• Follow facility safety and security procedures
• Plan and execute menus based on guidelines and budget

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and enforce policies
• Previous food service experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work in a secure correctional facility environment
