Pay
The starting pay range for this position is $21.50 – $23.50 per hour. The full pay range is $21.50 – $36.55 per hour. Pay is based on factors such as labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.

About the role
The Food & Beverage team ensures a consistent guest experience by keeping products fresh, in stock, accurately priced, and properly signed. The team leads food services, including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing for all Food & Beverage areas of the store.
Responsibilities
- Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring, and Friendly environment.
- Train and hold team members accountable for Target’s guest experience and operational standards.
- Review guest, financial, and team metrics; identify opportunities, take action, and celebrate wins.
- Plan and execute daily/weekly workload to meet sales and guest‑engagement goals.
- Assign daily tasks based on workload and traffic patterns, aligning with business priorities.
- Assess back‑of‑house, production, dining, and merchandising spaces for food safety and inventory levels.
- Walk Food & Beverage standards and routines daily to identify gaps and follow‑up.
- Follow all food safety and cleaning routines, including temperature monitoring.
- Validate team progress against department checklists and routines.
- Lead team to uphold Starbucks and Pizza Hut brand standards where applicable.
- Place store‑initiated orders to maintain accurate in‑stock levels.
- Manage perishable inventory and make production quantity decisions to ensure freshness and profitability.
- Stay current on trends and products to educate team members.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding processes.
- Establish clear goals, set expectations, and hold team members accountable.
- Complete Food Safety Manager certification and required Starbucks/Pizza Hut training.
- Model ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; lead a safety culture.
- Demonstrate inclusivity, respect diverse voices, and create equitable experiences.
- Execute best practices, close skill gaps through coaching, and model physical security processes.
- Support merchandise protection strategies across the store.
- Assume store‑level leadership on duty (LOD) responsibilities as needed.
- Address store emergencies, compliance needs, and support guest services (cashier backup, order pick‑up, drive‑up).
- Perform additional duties based on business needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous retail experience preferred but not required.
- Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business.
- Ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 lb without assistance.
- Capability to work in refrigeration/freezer temperatures and handle common allergens.
- Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
- Full‑time role without a guaranteed 40‑hour week; hours fluctuate based on business needs.

Schedule
This role requires a variable schedule that may include nights, weekends, holidays, closing shifts, and other peak shopping times. Hours are not guaranteed at 40 per week and will depend on business needs.
