The starting pay range for this position is $21.50 – $23.50 per hour. The full pay range is $21.50 – $36.55 per hour. Pay is based on factors such as labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.

About Food & Beverage
The Food & Beverage team ensures a consistent guest experience by keeping products fresh, in stock, accurately priced, and properly signed. The team manages replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing for all Food & Beverage areas of the store.

Responsibilities
- Deliver Target’s guest experience commitments to create an easy, inspiring, and friendly environment.
- Train and hold team members accountable for consistent operations and guest experience standards.
- Observe, provide feedback, and recognize great guest‑experience moments.
- Review guest, financial, and team metrics; identify opportunities, take action, and celebrate wins.
- Plan and execute daily/weekly workload to meet sales goals, including food service transitions, sampling, promotions, and price changes.
- Assign daily tasks based on workload, guest traffic, and business priorities.
- Assess back‑of‑house, production, dining, and merchandising spaces for food safety and inventory levels.
- Walk Food & Beverage standards and routines daily to identify gaps and follow‑up.
- Follow all food safety requirements, cleaning routines, and temperature monitoring.
- Validate team progress against department checklists and routines.
- Uphold Starbucks and Pizza Hut brand standards and production specifications.
- Place store‑initiated orders to maintain accurate in‑stock levels.
- Manage perishable inventory and make production quantity decisions to ensure freshness and profitability.
- Stay current on trends and products to educate the team.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding of team members.
- Set clear goals and expectations; hold team members accountable.
- Complete Food Safety Manager certification and required Starbucks/Pizza Hut training.
- Model ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; lead the team in these areas.
- Promote an inclusive, respectful, and equitable work environment.
- Demonstrate physical security processes and support merchandise protection strategies.
- Assume store‑level leadership on duty (LOD) responsibilities as needed.
- Address store emergencies, compliance needs, and support guest services (cashier backup, order pick‑up, drive‑up).
- Perform other duties based on business needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Previous retail experience preferred (not required)
- Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business
- Ability to lead and hold others accountable
- Effective communication skills; ability to use multiple devices and handheld scanners
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time‑management and task‑prioritization skills
- Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment
- Welcoming, helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Flexibility to work variable schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times
- Physical ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 lb, climb ladders, and remain mobile throughout shifts
- Comfort working in refrigeration/freezer temperatures and handling common allergens
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
