Food Service Specialist - IDEA Lopez (26-27)
Description
The Food Service Specialist ensures appropriate quantities of food are prepared, portioned, and served to IDEA students. Duties include cutting/chopping fruits & vegetables, following recipes, adhering to established kitchen processes, monitoring students during meal periods, and performing kitchen cleaning tasks.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred but not required
- 1+ years of experience in a physically demanding job
- Food Handler's Permit (city/county)
What You’ll Do
Possess an interest or passion for working with food, have a basic knowledge of food production processes, and be able to perform various tasks including cooking, cleaning, restocking, and resetting the kitchen. Must be able to lift, bend, walk, and handle medium to large equipment.
