About the Role
The Project Manager will assist in managing all Food Service operations within the region, ensuring quality, cleanliness, and service while maintaining standards. This role involves developing and implementing action plans for underperforming units and filling in for vacant management positions as needed.
Responsibilities
- Resolve complex operational issues using broad expertise and contribute to company objectives.
- Assist in strategic planning and provide technical leadership to project teams.
- Plan and manage project activities, including scope, tasks, and risk management for medium to large initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to teams, departments, and business partners.
- Proactively seek training and recommend developmental activities for self and team members.
- Provide escalation assistance, recommend solutions, and resolve moderately complex issues.
- Ensure compliance with standards, processes, and procedures; define and monitor key performance metrics.
- Act independently on new or special assignments and guide professional contributors.
- Create formal networks and collaborate across departments to gain consensus.
- Coach and mentor less senior team members individually or as a group.
- Manage IT project teams, including analysis, design, development, and implementation of initiatives.
- Follow project management methodologies, define scope, and develop work plans and tracking documents.
- Identify resource requirements, manage change requests, and mitigate project risks.
- Enforce quality standards, conduct audits, and create status reports for stakeholders.
- Conduct project reviews, assess improvements, and manage vendor deliverables.
- Automate tasks, implement process improvements, and maintain service level agreements.
- Perform other duties as needed by the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience accepted.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Five (5) years of Corrections experience in large-scale food service operations preferred.
- Previous multi-unit supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical reports, financial documents, and journals.
- Experience with menu management, cost of goods (COG) analysis, and financial statements.
- Proficiency in purchasing, inventory, ordering, receiving, and cost control desired.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications required.
