Responsibilities

  • Train and supervise kitchen and dining room personnel.
  • Plan, participate in, implement and manage food product consistency.
  • Plan, participate in, implement and manage dining room and kitchen operations.
  • Aid in menu development.
  • Invent and manage inventory, purchasing, and budget reporting.
  • Enforce departmental rules, regulations, and policies.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in food preparation, food management, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in the operation and management of institutional, military, or commercial food service operations.
  • If employed in the Kentucky Department of Parks or the Kentucky Horse Park, must be at least 21 years old at the time of appointment.
  • Must obtain S.T.A.R. (Server Training in Alcohol Regulations) certification from the Kentucky Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control within six months of appointment.

Pay

$20.15 - $30.22 hourly.

Schedule

Full-time, 18.75 hours per week.
