Food Service I

5.5 hours per day (8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.) position.

Responsibilities

• Use commercial restaurant equipment
• Read and understand recipes to produce usable products
• Apply knowledge and use of standard measurements

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Able to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. above head level
• Corrected hearing or vision within normal ranges
• Must pass the following clearances (all less than one year old unless noted):
  • Criminal Record Check
  • PA Child Abuse History Clearance
  • FBI Finger Print Clearance
  • TB Test/Mantoux (less than 3 months old)
  • Physical, if applicable (less than 1 year old)

Qualifications

• Prior K-12 or college dining food service experience preferred
• Dependable and able to work effectively with adults and students
