Responsibilities

• Open and ready the food service department for business during food service hours
• Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers
• Communicate effectively with store associates
• Follow all federal, state and local laws and ordinances pertaining to store operations
• Control food preparation to avoid waste while ensuring sufficient stock for customers
• Treat all associates with dignity and respect
• Advise store manager of any personnel situations or policy violations affecting store performance
• Assist in training new associates on proper job duties
• Follow all associate shift procedures and safety rules; use required protective equipment
• Use current plan-o-grams and communicate special needs or requests to the Manager
• Alert Manager about ordering merchandise to prevent out-of-stocks and maintain proper inventory
• Promote the Huck’s Bucks Loyalty app to customers; explain benefits and assist with sign-up and use
• Monitor transactions for potential misuse of points or discounts
• Maintain clean food service displays and glass; report maintenance issues requiring assistance
• Keep food service areas clean and follow all sanitation procedures
• Use ladders and lifting procedures per company policy; post wet floor signs as required
• Report accidents promptly to the Store Manager and Corporate office
