Join the Navy Exchange Service Command in Silverdale, WA as a Food Service Worker Grill Cook. No military affiliation is necessary, but incumbents must be U.S. Citizens.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a limited variety of fast foods using a grill, microwave oven, and/or deep fryer.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all sanitary rules and regulations.
• Clean counters, equipment, and appliances to ensure sanitary conditions.
• Replenish supplies from designated locations as needed.
• Assist in training other Food Service Workers.

Requirements

• 18 months of experience in food preparation and serving.
• Must pass an employment criminal background check.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Frequently lifts or moves objects up to 45 pounds.
• Required to stand constantly and walk in accomplishment of duties.
• Must obtain a secret clearance tier 3 level personnel security investigation for suitability within 6 months of appointment.

Substitution of Education for Experience: One year of high school education may substitute for 3 months of experience, up to a High School Diploma or GED for 12 months of experience.

Schedule

Full-Time (35+ hours per week).
