Full-time, onsite food-service leadership position in Meridian, MS (Corrections segment).
About the role
Lead a talented team of food-service workers and manage every aspect of the department to ensure that customers and clients never miss a meal.
Responsibilities
- Manage all functions of the food-service department and its resources.
- Hire, train, and lead a team of associates.
- Ensure staff meet all culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
- Budget for the department, purchase ingredients, and meet financial targets and forecasts.
- Confer with district managers and other departments on technical and administrative aspects of dining service.
- Address customer-service needs.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience coordinating food-service operations.
- Previous experience with industrial cooking.
- Excellent communication skills and experience communicating with both hourly staff and company executives.
- Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a strong focus on client and customer service and satisfaction.
- Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite applications.
Preferred qualifications
- ServSafe and/or HACCP certification.
Pay
$50,000–$55,000 per year.
