Food Service Director

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the food service department, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
• Manage and supervise a team of food service staff, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure excellent service and quality
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, as well as any relevant laws and regulations
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of food and supplies
• Collaborate with the nursing and activities teams to plan and implement special events and activities, such as holiday celebrations and themed parties
• Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor to ensure efficient operations and maintain a positive bottom line
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and continuous improvement
